DFINITY – A blockchain computer with unlimited capacity, incredible performance and algorithmic governance, shared by the world — Cloud 3.0

Robert Lauko, Research Associate, and Cédric Waldburger, Swiss Operations Manager, will present DFINITY's vision of a decentralized web, its objectives and technological achievements.

After highlighting the main issues related to existing blockchain systems, Robert will show how DFINITY uses sophisticated cryptographic techniques to overcome these challenges. There will be a deep dive into the Random Beacon, Threshold Relay and the Probabilistic Slot Consensus protocol, which sit at the heart of DFINITY.

The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session and an aperitif.
