Friends,
Over the last several years, my family and I have been immersed in the world that is living with Parkinson's Disease. Fortunately, my diagnosis and symptoms have been manageable, and I continue to be optimistic on the future of my progression. Along this journey, we have met some remarkable individuals; individuals who both have Parkinsons, as well as those who support the pursuit in finding a cure.
Throughout this time, my family and I have continued to learn more about this disease and ways to navigate the challenges it brings. We are committed to making an impact in the fight against Parkinson’s.
With that said, I am proud to announce that the D&K Parkinson’s Research Foundation is back again with the same level of determination and enthusiasm. In conjunction with the Michael J. Fox Foundation, we will be hosting our 2nd Golf Outing to raise awareness and funds benefiting Parkinson's Research.
As we begin preparations for our 2024 event, we want to ensure that we thank and highlight all those that donated, participated, and supported our inaugural event in July 2022. Our first event, raised $30,000.00, all of which went directly to research teams working at the Michael J. Fox Foundation. This year, our goal is to double our funds raised in our inaugural year while ensuring that the impact we make and the awareness we share is felt throughout the Parkinson's community.
To that end, I ask that you please consider supporting the D&K Parkinson’s Research Foundation as we continue to fight for the advancement in Parkinson’s research.
