DevLAB is a monthly intensive training series for St. Louis developers, designers, and analysts to get hands-on experience with the most in-demand technologies. Hosted by TechSTL at T-REX.

DevLAB is an intensive training series offering portfolio development and hands-on learning for the St. Louis tech community. Hosted on the 5th floor of T-REX, the evening consists of multiple training sessions showcasing the most in-demand software systems, tools, and languages for developers, designers, analysts, and project managers.Bring your laptop and your most exciting projects to discuss. (This is also a great place for local founders to find a technical co-founder, so come ready to discuss big ideas!)Snacks and beers will be served. A discussion and review of how I have implemented Microsoft Fabric at Alberici. Want to review areas where we stubbed our toe, how we have been successful thus far, and where we are going next. Open up the session at the end to answer questions or discuss additional data lakehouse/Fabric ideas.

Curious to know how to integrate AI into your software projects? Come to this hands-on lab to demonstrate how to use OpenAI, .NET, and C# to create your first AI-enabled application. We’ll go over some basic concepts around OpenAI, then jump right into developing a simple AI-enabled app.

 

If you want to follow along with the presenter, bring a laptop with your favorite IDE (Spencer recommends Visual Studio Code or JetBrains Rider!) and install .NET from https://dot.net.
