... is keen on providing safe-spaces for queer people of color (along with those who both celebrate and support us). We intentionally seek out what community needs are not being served, and meet them.Currently we are focused on creating fun and informative social spaces that unapologetically liberate the minds and stigmas around queer people. We are queering the culture by asking our patrons to get uncomfortable with what norms they've had to learn to survive a homophobic, racist and transphobic society. We ask our patrons to dress scandalously, listen to exciting LIVE DJ's and gather more regularly in active social environments.This is about having fun, getting informed and feeling free in a world, that's historically bullied queer people from youth. Deviant is a revolution that's begun on the dance floor; countering the problematic learned habits that many queer POC learned and adapted to for mere safety and survival.
