<p>The RMA Puget Sound Developing Professionals Group invites you to hear from a few of the region’s top CEOs in the banking, financial services, and real estate development industries!  Our panelists will be sharing wisdom and advice accrued over their impressive careers, covering topics such as the importance of building culture in the workplace, establishing a work-life balance, community involvement, mentorship, and much, much more!</p><p>The Risk Management Association’s (RMA) Puget Sound Developing Professionals Group is dedicated to providing the area’s up and coming leaders in banking and other financial industries with networking and educational opportunities that help advance their careers.</p><h2>Our Panelists:</h2>

<h2>Jeff Deuel</h2><h3>Heritage Bank | President and CEO</h3><p>Jeff joined Heritage in 2010 as Executive Vice President, becoming Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in the same year, before being promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer in 2012. Jeff brings more than 28 years of banking experience with companies like JPMorgan Chase, Bank United, First Union Bank, CoreStates Bank, and First Pennsylvania Bank. He serves on the Washington Bankers Association board as Chairman-Elect, is an avid cyclist and has climbed to the top of Mt. Rainier.</p><h2>David Stiefel </h2><h3>Bader Martin | Managing Principal </h3><p>Like most natural-born entrepreneurs, David Stiefel started early. By age 14 he was hiring employees, maintaining inventory and keeping the books for the snack bar at the View Ridge Swim Club.</p><p>David is Bader Martin’s managing principal and directs the firm’s family business practice. His work combines tax and accounting services with financial and business consulting for private and family-owned companies, their family offices and their high net worth owners.  David has simply always had a fascination with privately held and family-owned companies and their owners. He loves the combination of business and interpersonal dynamics involved, and enjoys the strategic and counseling aspects of his relationships with them.</p><p>He is experienced in strategic and wealth planning and business consulting, as well as goal setting, governance and structure, risk analysis and financial modeling. David also has significant professional experience with structuring merger and acquisition transactions, forensic accounting, with an emphasis on estate and trust disputes.</p><h2>Mike Raskin</h2><h3>MJR Development | Partner and Founder </h3><p>Michael J. Raskin founded MJR Development in 1991 and opened his first office in downtown Kirkland. Over the past two decades MJR Development has developed and constructed numerous projects throughout Washington State that have included office, mixed use, retail and, industrial buildings. MJR Development is a full service real estate firm founded on the mission of turning real estate dreams into reality. MJR Development has consistently developed buildings that stakeholders are proud of and that are sought after in the community.</p><p>Michael holds a BS from the University of Washington in Construction Management and an MBA from Columbia University. He and his wife Susie live in Medina Washington and are raising two wonderful boys Ben and Joey. Michael is also active in the community, having served on the boards of a number of private start-up companies and non-profit organizations.
