Meraki and Techqueria have partnered to bring you a networking event and panel discussion about developing cloud technologies that interact with hardware. Join us for an interesting discussion about the industry and the career paths of our panelists!

The Panelists: 
Rubi Sanchez is passionate about creating amazing end-user experiences for machine learning-related tech products. Previously, she was a was Co-Founder of Cocoon Cam, an IoT company that leveraged computer vision software to power a camera with vital sensing capabilities. They went from concept to presenting to President Obama to selling hardware product in a year. She is a UC Berkeley graduate with a background in product, strategy, and operations.
Dan Aguayo is the Director of Meraki’s Product Engineering team, responsible for the software that runs on the company’s networking portfolio (MR/MS/MX) and security cameras (MV). He has been with the company since shortly after it was founded in 2006. Before Meraki, as a graduate student at MIT, he worked on Roofnet, which was one of the first attempts to bring a “systems approach” to wireless networking and which provided key lessons from one of the first real operational deployments of a wireless mesh network.
Luis Madrigal is an Enterprise Mobile thought leader. He's been an Engineering Manager at Uber for 4 years where he has focused on setting their mobile strategy across mobile hardware, connectivity and software projects that have core in expanding Uber Rides, Uber Eats, and Uber Freight. Luis and his team have deployed over 1 Million connected devices during their time at Uber. His passion for Diversity and Inclusion have led him to be the leader of the Global Latino/Hispanic ERG at Uber, known as Los Ubers, which consists of hundreds of employees and allies.
Carlos Montesinos manages the development of state-of-the-art robotics and autonomous technologies. He started as a Robotics Engineer developing industrial robots for manufacturing. He then made the jump to UX and Design to develop product prototypes for the self-driving car, wearables, and drone markets. Carlos also co-founded the Makers and Innovators business unit at Intel, where he managed the Startup Initiatives program. In that role he worked with more than 25 startups, and Intel Capital, the company’s investment division, to launch several hardware and software products. He holds 8 patents related to Machine Learning, Automation, and Automotive.
Morgan Teachworth is an early employee of Meraki. He has developed the hardware organization over the past decade, from a single auteur dabbling in product design to a full symphony of engineers, designers, and specialists. His team develops, supports, and sources all the Cisco-Meraki hardware products, consisting of hundreds of models, and enables revenue in the billions. Within Meraki and its design and manufacturing partners, Morgan is one of the driving forces behind research, development and new product process innovation. His team has been recognized for their commitment to diversity and inclusion, and for having high levels of engagement and retention. Morgan graduated from Stanford University with a BS in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Mechanical Engineering.
