Ensure that your instructional materials reach all learners by creating accessible tables and charts.

This 60-minute session is reserved for ASU faculty, staff, and Teaching Assistants.

This workshop will be held online and will be partially recorded.

The use of automated bots, AI assistants, or other meeting recording devices are prohibited without the prior approval of event coordinators.

Designing Data for Everyone: Accessible Tables and Charts that Tell the Story

In this session, you’ll learn why it's critical to design instructional materials with tables and charts that proactively emphasize accessibility. You'll explore why tables should only be used for presenting data, how to easily create accessible tables, and what considerations are needed for accessible charts. The best part? These practical strategies can be used across multiple tools!

  • Participants will attend remotely via Zoom (a link to Zoom room will be emailed the morning of the training).
  • An ASU Zoom account will be required to join this session.
