About this event

  • 1 hour 30 minutes

Design thinking is a human-centered problem solving approach that puts the needs and experiences of patients, healthcare providers, and staff at the center of the problem-solving process. It encourages medical practice managers to empathize with the people they serve and understand their unique perspectives, challenges, and aspirations. Design thinking promotes collaboration and the involvement of doctors, nurses, administrators, and patients, to foster a holistic and inclusive approach to problem-solving and innovation. It encourages an iterative and experimental approach through which practice managers are encouraged to embrace experimentation, adaptability, and continuous improvement in order to find the most effective solutions. Medical practice managers will learn how to facilitate brainstorming sessions and creative ideation techniques to explore innovative solutions to complex challenges. Our speaker will be Stephanie Bell!
