C﻿oDesign Collaborative (formerly Design Museum Everywhere) is a national nonprofit with exhibitions, publications, and educational programs on the intersection of design and social good. Our programs are for designers and non-designers alike; we have core communities in Boston, MA; Portland, OR; San Francisco, CA; and New York City, and we produce programs both in-person and online.

<P>Work as we know it is changing and the demand for both office space and talent can be accurately represented by two charts that keep going up and to the right, according to research from <A HREF="https://www.naiop.org/en/Research/Our-Research/Reports/Office-Space-Demand-Forecast-2Q19" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">NAIOP</A>. Yet we continue to make decisions for new workplaces based solely on traditional ethnography, employee surveys, and the latest trends shown at NeoCon. The result? Employees’ expectations end up being disappointed by the reality of the situation, which is that new office design often lacks accurate insight into how the existing workplace is being used. <STRONG>Emily True</STRONG> will share practical tips for measuring the performance of your space today, and key insights to better inform design decisions when thinking about an office move.</P>

<P>Emily True thinks deeply about how software can solve the more mundane workplace problems, freeing people to focus on the work that matters.</P>
<P>She is a Sr Product Manager at Robin and has been with the team since its founding in 2014. With a strong emphasis on ethnographic research, data analysis, and user experience design, she’s developed a strong understanding of the evolving needs of the workplace and has helped shape the product to address those needs. Today, Robin’s workplace experience software helps modernize thousands of offices around the globe.</P>
