The award winning Northern California Chapter of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) is a vibrant, active and diverse membership of professionals. The greatest benefit of membership is the connections & camaraderie between our chapter members, which is both enjoyable and career enhancing.We cultivate a strong community through the four major chapter events we host each year and the numerous Professional Development & City Center events that occur throughout the year. Being active in the management of the Chapter is an excellent way to improve your leadership skills and visibility. Staying informed about changing government regulation, licensing and other issues affecting interior designers is an important benefit of membership in IIDA Northern California.

8th Annual Charity Dinner + Art Gala raising funds for Larkin Street Youth Services striving to help our community —Design for Wellness.

Berkeley City Club

The East Bay City Center chapter’s 8th Annual Design in Motion Gala—Design for Wellness— is proud to honor and announce our new partnership with Larkin Street Youth Services. After 2 years, we are taking the event back live and in person at the Berkeley City Club.Larkin Street is a remarkable resource that has impacted the lives of more than 75,000 youth in our region since it was founded in 1984. In 2022, Larkin Street is embarking on an ambitious plan to increase their support of East Bay youth from monthly housing assistance to a full-time, youth housing and drop-in facility. The building Larkin Street is acquiring will need ALL of us—designers, architects, builders, contractors, students, project managers and manufacturers to create a safe and supportive.Please join us for food, friends, and art auction —art pieces will be created by our design community to raise funds for this amazing cause to support human wellness for east bay homeless youth.Hope to see you there!EBCC IIDA
