Join me via Zoom for Design by Dice, a 2-hour mini workshop where we'll roll the dice to explore new design possibilities!

Add a playful twist of inspiration to your quilt designs through the use of dice! I&#x27;ll introduce how I use dice to challenge myself and explore new design combinations in terms of color schemes, elements of art, design principles, block orientation, and quilting motifs. Then it will be your turn to roll the dice and play with these concepts through several hands-on exercisesSupply List: Use whatever supplies you ALREADY have available!<ul><li>6-sided dice (one die is plenty)</li><li>Background fabric or 4 sheets of printer paper—I recommend a solid or small-scale blender prints. If using fabric, you can use a fat quarter (18&quot; x 22&quot;) and fold, or use 4 squares measuring approximately 6-8&quot; per side.</li><li>Assortment of fabric/paper scraps that contrast with your background fabric and includes a variety of color/value/patterns. Gather enough to fit into a sandwich sized baggie or pint-sized container. Fused scraps work great (leftover from past projects) or you can use unfused scraps with a school glue stick. Magazine clippings, plastic bags, pretty much any supplies you have on hand can be used!</li><li>Cutting Supplies: small 12&quot; rotary cutting mat, cutter, rulers, and/or scissors for fabric and/or paper.</li><li>If using fusible scraps, bring an iron and small ironing surface. Parchment paper of silicon pressing sheet is highly recommended to protect your ironing surface. If using non fused fabric/paper, bring a glue stick.</li><li>Pen/pencil</li><li>Optional: Plastic sheet protector (found in most office supply sections) and a fine-tipped dry erase marker and scrap of batting or tissue.</li></ul>Important Information:<ul><li>This is a Live, online class. Recording (video/audio) is not permitted. Participants may take photos/screenshots of the demos for their own personal use.</li><li>This online workshop is open only to those who have registered and paid for the workshop.
