Introduction to Hummingbird Robotics

In this hands on session you will design, build & program a robot with the Hummingbird Robotics Kit. Receive creative ideas and resources for use across your curriculum--whatever your setting. Discover how you can easily integrate robotics into any learning environment for ages 10 to 110. No experience necessary!

Please bring a laptop with this software installed. (Note: even if you already use Scratch, you will need to follow these directions to ensure Scratch connects to the Hummingbird.)

Developed at Carnegie Mellon University’s CREATE lab, the Hummingbird Robotics Kit enables open-ended and creative engineering and design projects. The Hummingbird is a kit comprised of lights, motors & sensors which allow students to program and build a robot out of any materials.
