Welcome to the Design a Planter: Clay Handbuilding Workshop at Groovy Plants Ranch in Marengo, Ohio!
Join us on Sun, April 27th, 2025 at 11:00 AM for a fun and creative experience. Learn the art of handbuilding clay to create your own planter pot for your spring flowers! Our expert instructors will guide you through the process, no experience necessary!
Participants will be provided a 4"x4", pre-thrown clay planter with attached drip tray, thrown by Earthly Pottery Co. A variety of pottery tools, molds and glazes will be provided to decorate your pots. Your planter pots will still be wet and moldable which means you will be able to attach clay decorations, carve designs and uniquely shape your pieces to make them truly one-of-a-kind.
*Class bonus* we can use some of our extra clay and make some planter decoration stakes! time permitted
Your pieces will travel back to the Earthly Pottery studio for firing. Finished work will be ready for pickup in 2-3 weeks at Groovy Plants Ranch.
