Join us for a two-part event at Forest Lawn - an exclusive peek into the depths of the Great Mausoleum!
Part One: "Back In Time: Origins of Great Mausoleum" - Lecture
Location: The Little Church of the Flowers - Forest Lawn Glendale
We start on Thursday April 25 at 7:00 p.m. with a behind the scenes lecture by Dr. James Fishburne, Forest Lawn Museum Director. Discover the hidden stories and fascinating history behind this iconic resting place.
Part Two: Walking Tour Through the Original Levels of the Great Mausoleum
Location: The Great Mausoleum - Forest Lawn Glendale
On Sunday, our knowledgeable guides will take you on a walking tour descending through the original lower three levels of the mausoleum and on a journey back in time, unveiling the rich history and hidden artworks along the way. Discover sculptures, stained glass windows and architectural features in areas unseen by most Forest Lawn visitors. Don't miss this opportunity to explore one of Glendale's most intriguing landmarks up close and personal!
Lecture: Thursday April 25 - 7:00 p.m. Followed by Q&A
Walking Tour: Sunday April 28 - 1:00 p.m. Followed by a reception with light refreshments

Free parking is available on the street in front of the Little Church of the Flowers and on streets near the entrance to the Great Mausoleum at Forest Lawn Glendale.
Note: There are multiple flights of stairs in the Great Mausoleum. No handicap access.
There will be steps and uneven surfaces so comfortable flat shoes with good treads are recommended.

Cutoff date for refunds is April 20. Cancellations after that date will be considered a contribution to the Glendale Historical Society - a 501(c)3.
Tickets cover both events - Lecture and Walking Tour. The cost is $40 for Glendale Historical Society members and $50 for non-members.
