DeQuan "Noot" Dickens Scholarship Fundraiser "Family Sneaker Ball"

DeQuan Xavier (Noot) Dickens was born June 13, 2001, he was a unique spirit of love and laughter. He lost his life to gun violence July 12, 2019. Honoring his life and the love he had for children, the DeQuan ‘Noot’ Dickens Memorial Endowed Scholarship at Edgecombe Community College was established in 2021. A good time with family and friends is what he looked forward to the most so, Summer 2024 we will be hosting the first of many events to celebarate "Noot," raise funds for his scholarship at ECC, and bring communities together to stop the violence.
