Join us on Saturday, May 10th from 10-2 pm for a FREE workshop with RisoLAB Spring 2025 Artist in Residence Emil Friis Ernst at the SVA RisoLAB! No experience required-open to the public!
Join Emil Friis Ernst in a workshop that explores the use of space and depth in visual storytelling. Consisting of a presentation centered around the powers of spatial vs graphical drawing, tips and tricks on adding depth to your illustrations as well as visual short hand that gets rid of the need for pesky, over laboured perspective grids and an exciting and action driven "sports comic" assignment, Emil helps you make spatial storytelling fun and engaging rather than a necessary drudgery!
Please confirm your attendance 24 hours in advance of the workshop. If you do not confirm, then we will open your spot to our waitlist. We will send an email reminder as well. Thank you!
Emil Friis Ernst (b. 1994) is a Danish artist and designer. He makes comic books, toys, prints and illustrations as well as the odd job within the fields of animation and visual development.
