After many months of discussion, research and development, the Colorado Smart Cities Alliance is excited to launch the Deployment Board at the start of the new year! The Deployment Board will provide a front door for Colorado&#x27;s innovation community to engage with Colorado&#x27;s government problem-solvers by inviting all 25 of the Alliance&#x27;s government entities to seek and evaluate innovative solutions, together, starting in January 2020. You don&#x27;t want to miss this!We&#x27;ve purchased a collaborative platform that will begin seeking ideas from solutions providers in the new year surrounding the six major problems we heard in our research with you:<ol><li>Mobility</li><li>Civic Engagement</li><li>Public Safety</li><li>Data</li><li>Energy and Utilities</li><li>Housing</li></ol>But before that happens, we&#x27;ll be hosting a half-day workshop to explain how it will work, conduct training on the innovation platform, and ensure everyone understands the opportunity to participate before we go live.We are inviting each Alliance government to send 1-2 representatives to attend the first workshop. The ideal representative/s could very well be yourself as the Alliance&#x27;s point person, but we&#x27;re looking for participants that:<ul><li>Has responsibility and experience in innovation and/or smart cities</li><li>Coordinates regularly inside, outside, and across the organization </li><li>Champions change and process improvement </li></ul>A full agenda, draft Deployment Board Charter, and calendar invitation will be attached here very soon, and breakfast and lunch will be provided!
