Please note that the Oct. 17, 2024 event is in Spanish.
IMPORTANT NOTE: These foster care informational meetings are in the form of online-only webinars. Please register here through Eventbrite if you would like to participate. We will email the link for the webinar prior to the event.
If you’re wondering whether foster parenting is right for you, then sign up for one of our Foster Care 101 Webinars. These free two-hour sessions, which are the first step in becoming a certified foster parent, offer valuable information and give you an opportunity to hear from foster care training and recruitment specialists about the experience.
Our foster care recruitment team facilitates these virtual meetings for groups of 10-20 people and couples. The team will be giving a short presentation, followed by a question and answer session. Topics include:
-- The needs of children in foster care.
-- The role foster parents play in reuniting children with their families.
-- Details about the certification process.
-- Requirements.
-- The support you can expect from us.
-- Testimonials from current foster parents.
