Denison in Cincinnati - Presidential Reception

Our alumni hosts, Denison Trustee Cynthia Ooten Booth ’79, Bob Castellini ’90, and Amy Goslee DeWitt ’93 and Andrew DeWitt ’93 (P ’22 and P ’27), invite you to join President Adam Weinberg and area Denisonians for this free reception to celebrate the university’s recent successes. The evening includes appetizers, refreshments, and remarks from President Weinberg about what’s in store for “the home we love so well.”

You also have the unique opportunity to participate in a workshop immediately before the reception called Designing Your Next Five. This innovative program, developed by Denison’s Austin E. Knowlton Center for Career Exploration, seeks to help alums answer the question, “What does it mean to build a well-lived and joyful life?” See below for additional details.

Both events are open to all Denison alums, families, and friends, but space is limited.

Convenient parking is available at the parking lot located adjacent to the Queen City Club. Business casual attire is recommended.

Knowlton Career Center Seminar: Designing Your Next Five

The Austin E. Knowlton Center for Career Exploration has developed a workshop called Designing Your Next Five to help young alums prepare for that first year or two, even five years after Denison. The core idea of the workshop is based on the book “Designing Your Life,” the New York Times bestseller from Bill Burnett and Dale Evans, two authors from Stanford University. Denison’s Designing Your Next Five workshop starts by asking alumni to create a mind map around the central question, “What does it mean to have a well-lived and joyful life?” This session will take place at the Queen City Club, just steps from the Presidential Reception taking place immediately following.
