Demystifying Accountability: The Missing Skills
Accountability—it can sound dangerous, boring, or just plain mysterious. And yet, it's critical to success in both empiricism and teamwork. So, how do we actually do it well?
There are three key ingredients to good accountability: motivation, safety, and skill. While there’s a lot of content out there on motivation and psychological safety, there’s surprisingly little on the practical skills that help accountability thrive.
That’s what this session is all about.
Join us as Mark Wavle breaks down the essential skills of accountability. We’ll explore operating principles, hands-on techniques, and strategies to foster a culture of shared responsibility and ownership. You’ll walk away with tools to make better requests, address misalignment, and lead by example—skills every team needs, but few talk about.
