Provides a brief introduction to Dementia Capable Southern Arizona and Dementia-Friendly Communities, an overview of dementia, including a description of dementia, causes and risk factors, common signs, and common types. This training also covers prevalence and statistics regarding dementia and processes around screening and diagnosis for dementia.

It is recommended but not required that you first complete the Dementia Friends Information Session.
