Using Brigid, The Morrigan and Hekate as classic examples, this class will address common fears and support the building of a personal, authentic relationship with Deity.Week I | Intro to Deity Work: Exploring BrigidWhat are Deities and why might we want to include them in our Witchcraft? By looking at modern and historical worship of Brigid (Goddess and Saint), we will explore what it means to be a Witch with a Deity-centered practice.Week II | The Myth of the Dark Deity: Exploring The MorriganShould Witches work with Dark Deities, or avoid them? What even is a Dark Deities? In this class, we will break down myths of The Morrigan and unpack the idea of a &quot;Dark Deity,&quot; and how these sorts of Deities have a role in modern Witchcraft.Week III | Deity and Devotion: Exploring HekateWhat does it mean to &quot;work with&quot; a Deity, and what does it mean to be &quot;Devoted&quot; to one? Should Witches pick a Patron Deity, and what does that mean or involve? By looking at historical and modern practices of worship of the Goddess Hekate, we will explore different ways to connect with ancient Deities in modern times.Week IV | Building a Deity-Centered PracticeWhat goes on a Deity&#x27;s altar? What are offerings and how often should they be made? How does a Deity-centered practice affect the Witch? What can Witches expect from a Deity-centered practice? We&#x27;ll explore these questions and more in the final class of this seriesAll classes are recorded. A link to the recording is sent out to the ticketholders the day after each event.
