About The DEI Summit Founder

Having founded the Los Angeles Diversity Directors Consortium over a decade ago, I understand intimately the challenges and nuances of not only leading a community's DEI programs and initiatives but also having to create the foundation and infrastructure for a position that is often misunderstood, under-resourced, and often conceived from a reactive place. My creation of the LA Diversity Directors Consortium was born out of my desire to give professionals a space to process, convene, and work in collaboration with each other. After decades as a diversity practitioner, director, lead researcher, and consultant, I want to continue to provide spaces for critical education, deep-thinking support, and the building of your toolkit for your DEI journey, as a leader, professional, or practitioner.

So, after years of work, research, and development, I bring to you the DEI Summit, a one-of-a-kind gathering space that centers on the work and experience of educators, thinkers, leaders, artists, administrators, directors and practitioners from across multiple industries. I look forward to coming together with you and supporting you wherever you are in your journey, guiding you with an experience-based lens and passionate heart that is rooting for you every step. I look forward to you joining me and other professionals this summer in Malibu as a way to reset, renew, and reimagine the ever-important, pressing work of you, as a champion of justice.
