This in-house competition is open to athletes of all levels and urges participants to come as they are—team themes encouraged! All proceeds from this event will be donated to Pr!deArts, an inclusive Chicago-based arts nonprofit that exhibits, promotes, and champions LGBTQ artists through all media and art forms.
Who is this for?
This event is for everyone: Defined athletes and non-members. Sign-up with a teammate who shares similar training abilities as you. Divisions include Rx, Intermediate, Scaled, and Just For Fun.
What's it all about?
Teams of 2 compete together in 3 workouts in 80 minutes. Teams, weights, and skills are non-gendered. Instead, pairs should choose a division that aligns with their interests, abilities, and the stimulus they’re looking to experience from each workout.
General Schedule
Heat 1: 75 minutes // 8-9:15a
- 8-8:10a: Warm up
- 8:10-8:20a: Orientation & Standards
- 8:20-8:25a: Break for setup
- 825-8:36a: Event #1 (11-minute AMRAP)
- 8:36-8:45a: Break for set up
- 8:45-8:55a: Event #2 (10-minute barbell complex)
- 8:55-9:00a: Break for setup
- 9:00a-9:15a: Event #3 (15-minute For Time WOD)
- 9:15-9:20a: Break to reset the training floor
Heat 2: 75 minutes // 9:20-10:40a (Same timeline as above)
Heat 3: 75 minutes // 10:40-12p (Same timeline as above)

Workout #1
Rx: C2B + T2B, HSPU
Intermediate: Pull Up + T2B, HSPU (+1 Ab Mat)
Scaled: Jumping Pull Up + Knees-to-Chest, Wall Walk
Just For Fun: Any variation!
Workout #2
All Divisions: 1 Clean + 1 Front Squat + 1 Hang Clean
Workout #3
Rx: 20lb. Wallball, 24" Box, 115lb. Snatch
Intermediate: 14lb. Wallball, 20'' Box, 85lb. Snatch
Scaled: 10lb. Wallball, 20'' Box, 65lb. Snatch
Just For Fun: Any weight!

Join us at Defined Training, 3834 N. Broadway 20-30 minutes prior to the start of your heat.
How can I sign up?
Register here for you and your teammate. Only one registration per team is needed.
Since all proceeds are being donated, Defined is unable to process refunds. In the event you need to replace a member of your team, please reach out to chandler@defined.training.

It’s not, but it’s definitely helpful. If you’d like to participate, but don’t have barbell experience, we recommend signing up for either the Scaled or Just For Fun division.
