"Cloud security is changing and rapidly evolving aspect of cybersecurity. The DEFCON Cloud Hacking CTF brings together challenges of real-world exploitation across multiple clouds in a competitive environment.

Rishi Malik and Brad Smith from team Eye-o will be talking about their training, preparation, efforts, and some of the specific challenges that led them to competing and winning the 2021 Cloud Hacking CTF."

Bio:

Rishi Malik is an entrepreneur, engineering leader, consultant and engineer. Having built companies, systems, hardware and software, he looks at security through the lens of business and engineering.

He's currently VP of Platform Engineering for a well known point-of-sale company, and stays active in the early-stage startup community as an investor and advisor.

As a graduate of the Colorado School of Mines and a Denver native, you can usually find him outdoors running, hiking, or just enjoying the Colorado sunshine.

Bradley Smith is a Director of Infrastructure and resides in Denver, Colorado.

He has been an engineer for more than 20 years at many startups and businesses of varying sizes.

He's built and trained numerous DevOps, SRE, and software engineering teams.

A Boston native, Bradley graduated from the University of Massachusetts Lowell."
