About this event

Please join the Deerfield Parents Network to celebrate our Grads to Be with a casual, fun and festive party under a tent at the Pocumtuck Valley Memorial Hall, adjacent to campus.

Friday evening May 27th beginning at 6:22pm.

We will have delicious food stations, cocktails, music entertainment by a DJ, dancing, a photo booth and a video montage of our seniors.

Attire is casual...leave your ties, jackets and heels behind! Come relax and reminisce with the amazing Class of 2022!

Handicapped parking and facilities are available.

IMPORTANT: Due to space constraints, this event is open to ONLY the graduates of the Class of 2022 and their parents or guardians. Maximum of 3 including the graduate. Exceptions cannot be made.

You can purchase tickets for $15 each by clicking on the green button above.

If financial circumstances make it difficult for your family to attend this event, please reach out to Melissa Persons at mpersons@deerfield.edu.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's):

Do I need to buy tickets?

YES! Everyone who attends needs to buy a ticket in advance...All graduating students, plus up to two parents or guardians, MUST have a ticket. You can purchase tickets by May 17th.

How much do tickets cost?

Ticket prices are $15 per person. No tickets will be sold at the door. Please print them out and bring them with you to the dinner or download them into the Eventbrite app.

Can I bring my other children, Grandparents or special friends to this event?

No. The maximum number of people from your family is three...your graduate and up to two parents or guardians (no substitutions please).

Due to size restrictions, budget considerations, and this event being a smaller one (unlike the Saturday night Class of 2022 Dinner Dance which is much larger), we are unable to accommodate any exceptions.

What can I do with my other children and the Grandparents while we are at the event?

The Spring Theater Production in The Hess Auditorium on campus is always entertaining and everyone is welcome. It begins at 7:00 PM.

We are happy to suggest a few dinner options for siblings, grandparents and special friends who may be traveling with you on Friday evening.

1) The Deerfield Dining Hall serves dinner between 5:30 and 6:45. All are welcome.

2) Champney's Restaurant at the Deerfield Inn is within easy walking distance from the school. Reservations fill up quickly. Visit: http://www.champneysrestaurant.com or call 413-772-3087.

3) There are also many restaurants within a 20 minute car-ride from campus. Many of them will also deliver to the front of the Main School Building (MSB) and to some local hotels. Please use this link for a list of local restaurants: https://deerfield.edu/about/visit/local-dining

Is there financial support for us to attend the event?

Yes. If financial circumstances make it difficult for your family to attend this event, please reach out to Melissa Persons at mpersons@deerfield.edu.

We won't be there on Friday night but our student will be. Can our student attend without us?

Yes! Just make sure you buy them their ticket in advance.

Can I buy tickets at the door?

No! All tickets must be purchased in advance.

What is the dress code for the party?

Relaxed and casual. Wear whatever you are comfortable wearing, including jeans! Jackets and ties are not necessary.

Is there assigned seating?

No. You are welcome to sit wherever you like! We ask, however, that you only put your belongings on chairs you will actually be using (3 max. per family) so that we have room to accommodate everyone!

How can I contact the organizers with any questions?

If you have further questions, please email them to deerfieldgradparty2022@gmail.com
