About this event

  • 5 hours 30 minutes

There is a fundamental unity between body, mind, and environment. Through exploring

the continuum of sensation, feeling, movement, and action, we can alter the way we

perceive ourselves, others, and the world around us. We can begin to think, experience

and move otherwise.

This immersion series is designed to deepen your experience in somatic and

embodiment practices. Each day will have a theme in which the material evolves

through explorations into the structures and qualities of different body systems, and the

origins of human movement. These act as springboards into new experience, insights

and choice.

Classes will be based on principles of Body-Mind Centering® applied through shared

inquiry, movement, and touch. Each immersion will present new material, you are

welcome to attend one or both. The series is recommended for anyone exploring yoga,

dance, performance, somatic education / therapy, and other body-mind disciplines. It

also is a good introduction to Body-Mind Centering®.
