Deep Rest: : Tools to Relax & Restore with Sue Elkind – In-Studio + Online

Sunday July 27 11am - 1:00pm

While we may sleep, we rarely get sufficient rest in our waking hours. Learning how to hit the reset button and experience profound relaxation is essential for our overall health and wellbeing.

Join Sue for this two hour journey into the benefits and practices of Deep Rest, Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra. Explore the science of relaxation through understanding the organizing principles of the Polyvagal theory and how our nervous system responds to stress. Learn gentle restoring practices that support healthy vagal tone and activate the parasympathetic nervous system, helping us to release tension, manage cortisol levels and support more restful sleep.

Our practice will end with a guided Yoga Nidra meditation that will move you into deeper states of consciousness and heightened awareness, leaving you feeling rejuvenated, empowered, and more equipped with tools to navigate life with greater ease and resilience.

CEU’s will be provided for yoga teachers for continuing education.

Fees:

Early bird $40 / after July 20 $50
