The NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute (DLI) and  Graduate School of Informatics, Middle East Technical University (METU ),IEEE Atilim are excited to deliver a hands-on deep learning workshop at Atilim University on 16th February 2019 Saturday exclusively for verifiable academic students, staff, and researchers.IMPORTANT: To reserve your seat, you MUST register with a valid university email address(*.edu.tr or *.edu etc.). There are a limited number of seats, please only register if you are definitely going to attend.In this full-day workshop, you’ll learn the basics of deep learning by training and deploying neural networks. You’ll learn how to:●       Implement common deep learning workflows, such as image classification and object detection.●       Experiment with data, training parameters, network structure, and other strategies to increase performance and capability.●       Deploy your neural networks to start solving real-world problems.Upon completion, you’ll be able to start solving problems on your own with deep learning.Workshop Agenda:16th  February 2019 Saturday 10:00   Deep Learning Demystified and Applied Deep Learning (lecture)10:30   Training Deep Neural Networks: 120 minutes (Hands-On)12:30   Lunch Break13:30   Deploying Trained Neural Networks: 40 minutes (Hands-On)14:10   Coffee Break14:30   Measuring and Improving Performance: 120 minutes (Hands-On)16:30   Closing Comments &amp; QuestionsYou must bring your own laptop to this workshop.This workshop is meant for developers, data scientists, and researchers with a basic understanding of deep learning concepts. IMPORTANT: To reserve your seat, you MUST register with a valid university email address (*.edu.tr or *.edu etc.). To maximize your training time during your DLI training, please follow the instructions below prior to attending your first training session:1. You must bring your own laptop in order to run the training.2. A current browser is needed. For optimal performance, Chrome, Firefox or Safari for Macs are recommended. IE is operational but does not provide the best performance.3. Create an account at https://courses.nvidia.com/joinClick the big green “Log in with my NVIDIA Account” button Click the “Create account” link to create a new account If you are told your account already exists, please try logging in instead If you are asked to link your “NVIDIA Account” with your “Developer Account”, just follow the on-screen directions4. Ensure your laptop will run smoothly by going to http://websocketstest.com/Make sure that WebSockets work for you by seeing under Environment, WebSockets is supported and Data Receive, Send and Echo Test all check Yes under WebSockets (Port 80).
