Deep Dive into Supervised Machine Learning - Classification Techniques

About the Event:      As part of our next series of learning core concepts and its practical usage in Machine Learning/ AI space, we will cover one of the most commonly used techniques for Supervised Machine Learning i.e. Classification. In this session we will learn different classification methods like Random Forest, Support Vector Machines, Logistic Regression, Naive Bayes Classifier and understand the merits of each approach. We will further cover core concepts like Bagging, Boosting, Ensemble methods and valuate the prediction accuracy of our classification model by understanding Truth Table, ROC and AUC curves. We will further cover use cases of  Classification is real world along with a demo and hands-on session using Python Scikit Learn Machine Learning. In the lab exercise, we will load labelled data, perform data pre-processing, run classification methods, hyper-parameter tuning , predict and visualize the results. 
About the Speaker:      Raghav Jandhyala is a Senior Director of Product Management at SAP Labs for IOT and Digital Supply Chain. Raghav has over 16 years of experience in different fields like Supply Chain Management, Retail and Banking along with a strong technical background in Big Data, Cloud, Machine Learning, Business Intelligence and drives development and adoption of business applications. He has Masters in Computer Science from Southern Illinois University along with Cloud Computing and Predictive insights from Stanford University and Advanced Machine learning and Artificial Intelligence, Harvard University. He held various roles in his career as Business Consultant, Development Architect, Solutions and Product Management. Raghav works with Strategic Customers for new product innovations and as a trusted advisor for their Business Transformations. His interest is to bridge Business and Technology and is also a Guest Speaker at ASU WP Carrey School of Business and Galvanize Phoenix
