The Volusia County Explore Volusia program invites you to come explore Deep Creek Preserve on a two-mile hike with Education Specialist Tommy Nordmann and search for signs of some of the animals that live there. Learn about predator prey relationships and how these animals have adapted for survival.

** Important note: Please arrive 15 minutes prior to complete a waiver. Waivers must be completed in full to participate in the program.

ACTIVITY: This will be a moderate hike.

RESERVATIONS: Required. Unless you have a confirmation email, you are not registered.

TICKETS: No printed ticket is necessary.

AGES: Ages ten and up are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

ATTIRE: closed-toe shoes, comfortable clothing for the outdoors

WHAT TO BRING: water, bug spray, sunscreen

FACILITIES: There will be a port-a-potty but no running water.
