The Deep Basement Shakers bring to life vintage barrelhouse, early blues and roots music with a unique sound featuring old time piano, washboard, washtub bass and an arsenal of DIY percussion. Known for energetic performances around the bay area and beyond, The DBS dig deep into foundational American musical traditions to channel the original spirit of the tunes - to cut loose and get down. Expect boogies, stomps, rags, rumbas, breakdowns, shakedowns and more.
