Decoding Dissociative Disorders

Decoding Dissociative Disorders

Online event
Thursday, Mar 19 from 12 pm to 1 pm MDT
Overview

This training helps clinicians make sense of why dissociation happens, how it shows up in people’s experience, and what it means for therapy

Join us for our monthly Lunch & Learn training happening on March 19th!

You’ll get real-world skills to spot dissociation in your sessions, talk about it with clients, and begin supportively responding in ways that build safety and trust.

Our training this month will help you:

  • Replace myths, misconceptions, and stigmatizing ideas about dissociative disorders with clear, trauma-informed understanding so you can approach clients with confidence and empathy.
  • Recognize dissociative responses in practice, including both subtle and obvious signs, and how those relate to trauma adaptations rather than just “spacing out.
  • Practical strategies to help clients stay grounded and present, using simple stabilization and safety techniques that support clients before deeper memory-related or identity work begins.

Yes, this training will be recorded.

But you’ll get the best results if you attend this LIVE and INTERACTIVE training, including:

  • Opportunity to engage and ask questions with the presenter and other attendees.
  • A Certificate of Completion for the training for use toward your Colorado Professional Development Hours.
  • Get your questions answered in real-time!
