Description

#DECLASSIFIED
“New and Used Kreislers: Exploring the Fritz Kreisler Collection at the Library of Congress"

David Plylar, Music Division

Fritz Kreisler was one of the 20th-century’s most celebrated violinists, but did you know that he was also a composer and arranger of great skill? We will look at selected compositions and transcriptions from the Fritz Kreisler collection at the Library of Congress, and perhaps even take a peek at the beautiful Guarneri violin he donated to the Library.

Additional Ticketing Information
Seating is first-come, first-served for patrons with a reservation. For best seating options, patrons are encouraged to arrive fifteen minutes before the scheduled start of the event. At five minutes before the start of the event, all empty seats will be available on a first-come, first served basis to all patrons. Because of the limited space in the venue, we encourage patrons who are unable to obtain a reservation to add their name to the waitlist; it is possible that events may be repeated if there is sufficiently high interest.

Please request ADA accommodations at least five business days in advance by contacting (202) 707-6362 or ada@loc.gov.
