Declaring Freedom Association for the Study of Connecticut History Spring ConvocationJoin us for a captivating in-person event at Central Connecticut State University! The fourth day in the Declaring Freedom series is sponsored by the Association for the Study of Connecticut History. Join your colleagues and friends from around the State in a full-day meeting exploring the role Connecticut’s museums, historical societies, organizations and individuals can play in 2026 during the Semiquincentennial of the United States. This collaborative day of sharing includes continental breakfast, lunch, speakers and breakout sessions moderated by members of the Association for the Study of Connecticut History (ASCH) . This will be the first of at least three statewide planning sessions brought to you by ASCH. This first session is being provided at no cost to the first 250 registrants, thanks to the generosity of Pat Moran, a lover of history and member of the Avon Historical Society. Each registrant will be given a free one-year membership in ASCH which includes two copies of their Connecticut History Review, a peer-reviewed journal of our State’s history.
