Unleashed Paws was started by two women, one mission – love and help animals, enjoy the life you live daily with your pets and give back to the community.We are a lifestyle website and event planning company for animal lovers serving Dallas, Fort Worth and the surrounding cities. This year, Mesquite Convention Center will be home to the largest holiday festival for animal lovers in North Texas. The Christmas fun includes tail waggin’ holiday shopping and entertainment that benefits local animal rescues. It's Dog Mom approved!

Holiday pet expo volunteers are much needed and deeply appreciated! If you're an animal lover with interest in sharing your valuable time, energy, and enthusiasm during the weekend, you are invited to join the furry fun! All volunteers receive a free 'Paw-ty Patrol' t-shirt, and two tickets to Deck the Paws so that you can enjoy the paw-liday fun, too. FAQs
Can I bring my pet? 
You are welcome to bring your well-behaved leashed pet, maximum leash length of 6ft and no retractable leashes are not allowed. Pets should be current on all vaccinations. Please bring proper cleaning materials as owners are responsible for clean-up of any accidents. We are not responsible for any incidents involving pets or their owners. Just remember to check into our pet waiver station to sign a release or fill out the online pet waiver form when you purchase your tickets. 
Can I purchase a pet at Deck the Paws?
We do not allow pets to be sold at the festival by pet stores, breeders, etc. The only pets available are the ones up for adoption from one of our reputable rescues, which may require processing fees.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
No, there isn't. All are welcomed. 
What about parking?
Parking is FREE at Mesquite Convention Center. 
Can I purchase tickets at the door? 
Yes, you can! Tickets are available online or at the event’s entrance. The price of tickets on event days is $10 each for adults (13 and up). Kids 12 and under are free.
I don't see a specific date on my ticket. Can I attend either day? 
Yes, you can attend either December 14 or December 15.
I purchased my tickets online, but lost my email. Can someone resend my tickets, please?
Yes, please email kathy@kathyrbeazley.com with the name the tickets will be under as well as the email address that the purchase was made under. 
May I get a refund?
Refunds are available through November 15, 2019. However, if you cannot attend, we ask that you reconsider this as a donation to help raise funds for attending animal rescues.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, you don't. We can easily scan your phone. We also will have online access to check your ticket order. 
Can I update my registration information?
Yes, you may! 
Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
Yes, you may! 
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
Yes, that's fine. 
What does admission include?
Admission includes entrance into the festival and several activities, shows, music, and more. You’ll want to bring cash and credit cards to shop at one of our many fabulous exhibitors and for a photo with Santa. There is an additional fee for concessions.
Do you have concessions available?
Mesquite Convention Center has a full-service concession area available offering a variety of different food options. No outside food or beverages are allowed within the facility.
What if it rains or snows?
Deck the Paws is a rain or shine festival. The majority of the festival is indoors.
Is Deck the Paws wheelchair accessible?
Yes, it is! 
Do you provide wheelchairs or scooters for rent?
No, we don't. 
Is smoking allowed at Deck the Paws?
Smoking is prohibited inside Mesquite Convention Center, per the City of Mesquite.
I've lost something. How can I find out if you found it?
If you’re still on the festival property, please go to the production office. If you are off-site, please email kathy@unleashedpaws.com and provide a description of the lost item.
