Let's Deck the House for the Holidays! Have your home/business decorated by Dec 18 and be declared the jolliest house in Winthrop, MA!

<h3>The holidays are here so let&#x27;s celebrate the season and Deck the House! Decorate your home/business with all your holiday spirit by Dec 16 and watch as Winthrop drives by to vote on our social media. Those with the most votes will be named the jolliest house in Winthrop!</h3>To Enter the Contest:1. Submit yournameaddressphone numberemailto Winthrop Chamber of Commerce (WCOC) at ann@winthropchamber.com.2. Pay your entry fee by- Dropping off a $10 check or $10 cash to 207 Hagman Road in the mailbox slot on the left side-Calling 617-846-9898 to use a credit card-Purchasing a $10 &quot;ticket&quot; via Eventbrite*If you do not receive a confirmation message/email/phone call, please follow up so that we are sure not to miss you!3. Deck out your home in your best holiday gear, while adhering to the Rules for Participation (below).4. Ensure your home/business is decorated by Dec 16. Please submit one (1) photo that best showcases all your hard work to ann@winthropchamber.comRules on photos/videos:<ul><li>Each entry will have a single photo that can be voted on. This entry can be a collage if the participant wishes, but no more than 5 photos are permitted within the collage.</li><li>Likes attained by photos added in the comments of participants&#x27; photos will not count to the overall like tally. All votes must be on the main photo for that participant.</li><li>Videos are permitted in lieu of a photo-you may not have a video in addition to photos.</li></ul>The submission photos/collages/videos will be shared on our social media to encourage voting, including Facebook, Instagram. The addresses will also be placed on a Google Map to encourage the community to drive around and see the displays in person.*Due to COVID-19 we do not recommend that homes be approached for viewing, and should be able to be judged from the sidewalk/street in front of the home to ensure appropriate social distancing. 5. Voting will occur between Friday, December 18th through Sunday, December 20. Votes will be tallied via Facebook likes, Instagram likes, E-mails, or Phone calls to the WCOC. The house/business that receives the most votes will win a prize and will be announced on Monday, December 21.Rules for ParticipationThank you for participating in our Deck the House Holiday Decorating contest. To be considered for judgment and eligible for prizes, participants must adhere to the following rules when decorating their homes/businesses:1. Political leanings will not be permitted. Any inclusion of politics, politicians, or matters of contention or the like will be disqualified.2. Do not interfere with fire safety equipment. Public walkways must be kept clear for safety reasons.DISCLAIMER: I agree to allow the WCOC and staff to post my home and address via social media, as well as be potentially be filmed for WCAT for future airing on community television. I consent to allow my house location to be placed on a map to be made available to the public. I agree to hold harmless the WCOC and staff for any incidents or accidents that may occur, directly or indirectly, as a result of the Deck the House Holiday Decorating Contest.
