Decision Height

Decision Height by Meredith Dayna Levy is a powerful and moving story of courage, friendship, sacrifice, and the remarkable women who answered their country’s call during World War II. Presented by SJCCA Theatre, the play follows a group of young women who leave behind their families and familiar lives to train as Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASPs).

Set against the backdrop of World War II, Decision Height explores the challenges these women faced as they learned to fly military aircraft and proved themselves in a field dominated by men. Through demanding training, personal struggles, triumphs, and loss, the women form an extraordinary bond and discover what they are willing to sacrifice for their country, their fellow pilots, and the opportunity to pave the way for future generations of women.

Blending moments of humor, friendship, and heartbreak, Decision Height honors the often-overlooked contributions of the WASPs and celebrates the determination of women who refused to allow the expectations of their time to determine how high they could fly.

This production will take place at Murray Middle School. Please plan to arrive early, as parking at the venue is limited. We encourage audience members to carpool whenever possible and allow additional time for parking and entering the performance space.
