Since 1973,Self Help Graphics & Art(SHG)has produced more than 2,000 art print editions, including 62 Professional Marking Program ateliers and exhibitions all over the world. The organization remains dedicated to the production, interpretation, and distribution of prints and other art media by Chicana/o and Latinx artists; and its multidisciplinary, intergenerational programs promote artistic excellence and empower community by providing access to working space, tools, training and beyond. Learn basic printmaking using a stencil or photo process in our DIY Silkscreen Workshop ($30) on Saturday, December 17 from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. with an SHG teaching artist, Oscar Rodriguez! In this class, you&#x27;ll transfer your digital or hand-painted designs or photos onto a silkscreen from a transparency sheet. Prepared screens can be used to print on a variety of flat surfaces; such as paper, textiles and clothing. This workshop is recommended for ages 12+. Hurry and register, space is limited– this workshop will sell out! #SHGWorkshopsKnow before you go to SHG:<ul><li>😷 Masking is optional but encouraged.</li><li>🧒🏽 Minors must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of their workshops. </li><li>💭 Share your memories.
