Rapid Prototyping with Recycleables

Taught by Sam King

Make-HER teams will dive into the design thinking process to brainstorm, design, and rapid prototype a solution to make their neighborhood/community/school/country/world a better place. After working through the brainstorm and design process, teams will bring their visions to life utilizing recycled materials and learning the basics of prototyping!

Make-HER workshops are open to girls aged 8 - 12 and their mothers (or other adult female mentors). Our #LadyMaker educators have designed content specifically for this age group. Therefore the workshops are not appropriate for those under age eight, please no younger siblings. You may cancel up to 48 hours in advance through this site. Those who do not show without cancellation will be prevented from registering for subsequent Make-HER workshops.

Each workshop requires a separate registration. Each registration reserves spots for both you and your daughter. If you have more than one daughter aged 8-12, please complete only ONE registration, put both daughters' first names in the name field, and list the younger daughter's age when asked. Please do not register friends for this mother/daughter program.
