Join our events to learn about, and with, Rithm. We host regular info sessions and alumni AMAs so you can get all your questions answered, as well as technical events where we'll explore the topics you'll need to ace your technical interview!

Rithm School

Learn about a powerful set of tools used by professionals for debugging and communicating about HTTP Requests. First, we'll generate requests using Postman, a popular GUI based tool for building and organizing requests into convenient collections. Then we'll examine cURL and jq, two very powerful CLI utilities for interacting with HTTP and transforming JSON data.
Logistics:
Doors open at 6pm, lecture will start @ 6:30pm
Prerequisites:
Familiarity with the Command Line and basic knowledge of HTTP will help, but neither are necessarily required. The code we'll be working with isn't really a programming language so it should be approachable by people of any technical level.
Install Instructions: 
OS X:

Install cURL and jq in a terminal: 
$ brew install curl jq 
 
Linux (Ubuntu / Mint / Debian):

Install cURL in a terminal:
