DEB RYDER & FRIENDS
Multi award-winning Contemporary Blues, Soul, and Americana singer/songwriter, and performer Deb Ryder is known worldwide for her powerhouse vocals, sizzling stage presence, signature arrangements, and impeccably “smart” songwriting. Deb has a long and successful career as a professional session singer and recording artist, performing on numerous national and international radio and television commercials. Her six critically acclaimed and chart topping records of all original music have kept her in the Top Ten on the Contemporary Blues charts since 2013!
Deb’s musical career began in her early teens when her mother moved the family to California, and along with her stepfather, opened the renowned Rock and Blues club, The Topanga Corral. There she opened for and performed with such legends as Etta James, Big Joe Turner, Taj Mahal, and Canned Heat -- all regulars at the club. These artists mentored Ryder, and it was then that her vision of herself as a singer, songwriter, and performer began to take shape.
Deb Ryder's contributions to the blues genre and her commitment to keeping the music alive have solidified her reputation as a well-respected musician and performer. With her energetic stage presence and remarkable talent, she continues to captivate audiences and leave an indelible mark on the blues music landscape.
Special guest Jimmy Z (Etta James, Eurythmics, Rod Stewart, Ringo Starr) on Sax, Harp & vocals
Deb has invited a few of her wonderfully talented musical friends to join her on stage. It’s gonna be a great time.
