A FREE Community Healing Festival for Hope & Mental Wellness
Dear Mama is a FREE community healing festival dedicated to honoring every version of motherhood while creating space for connection, remembrance, and collective healing.
This free outdoor event brings together mothers, families, and community members for a day of wellness, resources, and joyful gathering in a supportive and nurturing environment.
Motherhood holds many stories. For some, it is filled with celebration and laughter. For others, it carries grief, resilience, and memories of loved ones who are no longer here. Dear Mama was created to hold space for all of those experiences — reminding mothers and families that they are not alone and that healing can happen in community.
As part of the Take Action for Mental Health Los Angeles County initiative, this event is designed to uplift mental wellness, encourage open conversations about mental health, and connect families with resources that support healing and resilience.
Throughout the day, attendees will be able to explore a variety of experiences designed to support mental wellness, reflection, and connection.
The festival will feature a Resource Village with local organizations offering mental health resources and family support services, Healing Activations such as yoga, meditation, chair massage, and wellness activities, and a Kid Zone with games and activities for children so families can enjoy the day together.
Guests will also be able to visit the Memory Garden, a peaceful space created to honor loved ones and children who are no longer with us, offering an opportunity for remembrance and reflection.
In addition, the event will include free food, community vendors, and opportunities to connect with neighbors, local leaders, and organizations committed to strengthening the well-being of families in our community.
Dear Mama is more than an event. It is a space for mothers to feel seen, families to feel supported, and the community to come together in love, healing, and hope.
