About this event

  • 35 days 1 hour

Facilitator: Jenni
Series Length: Ongoing (Join anytime!)
Suggested Supplies: Pen/pencil and paper or a notebook

Journals can be so much more than just reporting your daily activities. In this one-hour class, you'll be guided through writing prompts and idea-generation techniques used by writers at all levels. Together, we'll discover how to turn a blank page into an inspiring space to play with creative ideas and allow your dreams to flourish. You will also have the opportunity to share your writing in a supportive online environment. No prior writing experience is necessary.

For each class, you'll need a pen and paper (or a notebook).

Each class will take place from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. CT. Please note that we will meet weekly in May, and then every other week in June (June 6 and 20).

You are welcome to attend all sessions of the class, or just drop in when you are available. Just sign up once to receive a reminder and Zoom link every week!

You will receive a confirmation email that includes the Zoom link for your program, and the reminder emails each week will also contain the Zoom link.

If this is your first time accessing Zoom, or if you need a refresher, we’ve put together a few resources from around the web that should help!

  • Here is a guide on the basics from Zoom: https://youtu.be/pAMDxH_H_Cs
  • If you are using your phone or a tablet, the easiest way to access Zoom is by downloading the Zoom app, as shown here: https://youtu.be/0NBARnBxk-Y (Note that while this video shows an iPhone, other phones will have a similar process. The “App Store” for Android phones is called the “Play Store” or “Google Play Store.”)
