Workshop 1 (07.05.24 - 18:00-20:00)

Language Deprivation, Abstract Reasoning, Theory of Mind, Autism

Most hearing professionals have never considered the function of Language in their relationship building, assessment and intervention. Regardless of the client’s neuro-linguistic development, they expect the interpreter to magically make the client understand them. Is it possible to interpret all messages to all to all deaf clients?

These workshops will stretch you but also leave you feeling relieved that you are not alone.
