SF Dharma CollectiveSan Francisco, CA
Sunday, Apr 26 from 12 pm to 4:30 pm
Overview

Join long-time trainer Lynn Stone and Dharma teacher Augusta Hopkins for a specially designed, interactive, de-escalation training.

with Lynn Stone & Augusta Hopkins

Join long-time trainer Lynn Stone for a specially designed de-escalation training. We will use interactive learning to discover 'Ah-ha moments' that help us grow our de-escalation skills.

This session is ONLY in-person at SFDC, 2929 24th Street in the Mission.

Please dress comfortably and bring your curiosity.

Lynn Stone is a longtime trainer and activist specializing in interactive de-escalation training. Stone does not ‘teach’ de-escalation. She leads interactive sessions so that participants can discover their own de-escalation strengths. Stone took the precepts from John Daido Loori Roshi at the Mountains and Rivers Order in upstate New York in 1996. She is grateful to be able to work her Buddhist background into de-escalation training at this event.

Augusta Hopkins offers “Zen with an edge.” Drawing on her Quaker roots; deep practice and training in the Plum Village Community of Engaged Buddhism, Insight Meditation, Theravada Buddhism; and the spiritual healing journey of the Twelve Steps of Al-Anon.
