Welcome to De-Colonizing Christianity: A Look from Eastern Eyes! Join us for an insightful online event where we will explore the origin of the religion, its teachings, influences along the way, and how it has taken the shape it holds today.
This conversation will be engaging, but will also challenge and dismantle colonial influences within Christianity, particularly from an Eastern perspective. This event will feature thought-provoking material by a native Aramaic-speaker, open group discussions for participants to share their own experiences and insights, and ask questions.
The program takes place on Monday nights in May, beginning May 6th. Join us then, and each week thereafter, including May 13, 20 and 27th. Tuition is $44 and includes all four sessions. Every session will be recorded and mailed to participants weekly regardless of attendance.
