Description

DCDT Talk will explore what it means to go from being an entrepreneur to being a parent and an entrepreneur. It’s no longer easy to stay up working on that design project until 3 a.m.

  • How do parents balance professional creativity, personal creativity and the demands of family?

This event features a short talk and opportunity to networks with organizations that support working parents. Bring the kids to enjoy activities in our Design Incubator too.

Speakers to include: Artist Jenn Maine; Carmen Dahlberg of Belle Detroit; Brooke Miller of Honey for Moms; Chandra Moore-Banks, principal and director of design for coG studio

$15 General Public Admission or $5 Student Admission / Students, bring your school ID

Children enter free.

Drinks and lite fare, included. There is no parking in our back lot but you can park along Willis (free) and there’s a garage behind Great Lakes. We’re near an M1 stop (Hop Cat) so you can jump on the trolley, too.
