We invite DC residents to show support for DC BLACK FATHERS MATTER PROJECT by joining the 5th Annual Father’s Day Weekend Motorcade Saturday, June 15. DC residents are welcome to decorate their vehicles but not required. Just Show Up And DRIVE! Arrive as early as 10:30 a.m. to the African American Civil War Museum. The Museum is located at 1925 Vermont Ave NW.
The Motorcade lineup will begin at 11:00 a.m.
The Motorcade will start at 12 p.m. in front of the African American Civil War Museum (Address: 1925 Vermont Ave NW) and proceed through wards 1, 5, 7 and 8 ending at The Big Chair (Located at the corner of MLK Ave and V St SE).
The Motorcade will approximately end at 1 p.m. upon arrival at The Big Chair.
