About this event

Music • Acoustic

Come sing your heart out, together on Saturday October 18, 3-5 PM in Logan Circle. We’ll do some fun songs in the spirit of No Kings — and if you just want to escape from everything, we’ll do that too!

How It Works

  • Bring your voice: Musical ability is NOT required. Nobody will be able to hear you sing, so don’t feel self-conscious!
  • Bring an acoustic instrument: Anyone's welcome to join the “band,” from fretters to flautists of all skill levels! The D.C. Sing-Along Songbook includes chords for the musicians.
  • Call out your fave song from the songbook: The Beatles, Disney, Taylor, Whitney — the D.C. Sing-Along Songbook has something for everyone!
  • Bring the kids, too: As long as you're ok with a smidge of profanity (looking at you, Alanis).
  • The event is free! (Donations are appreciated to help cover costs of venues, songbooks, kazoos 🎺🙏.)
  • Questions? Email dcsingalong@gmail.com

Where It's At

  • 1717 15th St NW, Washington DC
  • Metro: It's a 0.5-mile walk from the U Street Metro station (Green/Yellow lines), or a 0.7-mile walk from the Dupont Circle Metro station (Red line).
  • Parking: There is parking on surrounding neighborhood streets, but it may be limited. Check parking signs to make sure you can park without a neighborhood permit.
  • Accessibility: The venue is not wheelchair-accessible. There are two sets of outdoor stairs to get to the front door. Chairs can be limited, so email in advance if you want us to reserve one for you.
